Campaign Budget

Budget: CREATIVE ENTERPRISE BUDGETING

We propose for the campaign to initially extend out to the Wellington region and if successful to further extend to a national level. Considering the budget is unknown to our client at this time alongside being a non-profit organisation we will be proposing different budget options at different costs, including variable costs that extend to the campaign being active for 2-3 or 3-4 months.

Poster-boards and Bus-stop Advertising
Considering the Wellington region for the print media we researched rates and quotes from various printing places and The Big Picture printing company is the best choice for this campaign, and TBP was also recommended by many of the printing places we talked too. The budget for print stands at:

A1: 25 Posters - $240.50 Cost per unit - $11.90
      50 Posters - $585 Cost per unit - $11.70
      75 Posters - $753.75 Cost per unit - $10.50

A0: 10 Posters - $260 Cost per unit - $26
      25 Posters - $560 Cost per unit - $22.40

Min Budget: (25 A1 + 10 A0) = $500.50

Med Budget: (50 A1 + 10 A2) = $845

Max Budget: (75 A1 + 25 A0) = $1,313.75

Social Media Advertising: Instagram and Facebook

Social media advertising is based off a lot of variables that come into play including how much you want to spend, how many people you want to see it and what demographics. These factors determine the budget through considering CPC (Cost Per Click) and CPL (Cost Per Like) measuring the engagement of the audience the firm is trying to target. Engaging with a social media agency is an effective way to focus and increase social media engagement for the cancer society and this campaign. The average costs for social media promotions in a campaign ranges from $4000-$7000 per month to $20,000 for more extensive and widespread campaigns.

Break down the scope of social media in a campaign:

Social Engagement. Sharing content, responding to comments and messages, liking posts, hosting digital events, and otherwise interacting with your target market.
Content Creation. In order to have content to share across your marketing channels, you must create it — white papers, press releases, blog posts, infographics, viral videos, images, and other media.

Paid Advertising. Many social platforms provide some form of paid advertisement that you can use to directly drive traffic to your business — Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, Pinterest’s Promoted Pins, Twitter’s Promoted Tweets, etc.

Data Analytics. Measurement is the key to improvement. You’ll need to invest in the back-end infrastructure that aggregates, tracks and measures the successes and failures of the other three branches. (Up-work Global Inc).
